Alumnus Encourages Including Simpson in Your Estate Plan
Dr. Campbell Howard ’69 and his wife, Anne, recently notified us they have included Simpson College in their estate plan.
The Howards have supported The Simpson Fund for more than 50 years, including 25 as members of the President’s Society. Reflecting on their process, Campbell said, “After supporting our three children and three grandchildren, we developed a plan to support our other passions. Supporting Simpson through our estate plans made the most sense to us.”
As a physician and clinical pharmaceutical researcher, Dr. Howard does his homework before making a recommendation, so we’re especially happy to hear him say, “I encourage as many people as possible to use estate planning to support Simpson College. It is easy to do and doesn’t require spending money today while you still need it.”
Campbell went on to say, “When you are ready to write your will, you simply designate the amount you want to give to Simpson—either a percentage or a flat dollar amount.”
